Trevor started out life on a fruit property in the South Australian Riverland before his parents moved to Adelaide, where he grew up and received his education. After qualifying as a pastry chef, he worked in the industry for 11 years before the call to the land returned in 1987 and resulted in a change of career to the wine industry.

Trevor spent several years working in and managing vineyards in the Adelaide Hills while gaining experience in boutique winemaking and completing a winemaking degree at Charles Sturt University.

McLaren Vale beckoned in 1994 and Trevor began working in the area, gaining valuable experience as winemaker at Andrew Garret, Ingoldby and Maglieri Wines. He was able to work internationally, completing four vintages in Italy and Bulgaria, and also spent some time as a winemaking consultant.

In 2008, Trevor joined the Rosemount Estate winemaking team. He particularly enjoys working with the magnificent quality fruit and plethora of alternative varieties that find their way to the Rosemount Estate winery, along with experimenting in innovative winemaking techniques.

After only six years with the Rosemount Estate family, Trevor already has a fine body of work behind him and a world of vinous possibilities ahead.
